Outside the lab

Art, drumming & Habitat for Humanity

I grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. Outside research, I draw, paint, and play drums. I’ve also spent many hours building homes with Habitat for Humanity, including a summer of AmeriCorps service in 2019.
